Terms
Last updated 10 August 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Abbas Alayan ("I", "me"), the publisher of the MedKeeper mobile application. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use MedKeeper.
MedKeeper is not medical advice and is not a medical device. It is an organiser and a reminder. It does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe, and it must never replace the instructions on your prescription or the advice of your doctor or pharmacist. If you think you are having a medical emergency, contact your local emergency service immediately.
MedKeeper lets you record medications, schedule reminders, log doses you have taken, and keep track of appointments and vaccinations. It is an aid to your own memory and record-keeping. Every decision about what to take, when to take it, and whether to take it at all remains yours and your clinician's.
This deserves to be stated plainly, because it is the most important limitation of any reminder app. Reminders are scheduled through your device's operating system, and whether they actually appear is outside my control. They can be delayed, suppressed or lost entirely because of:
Do not rely on MedKeeper as your only safeguard for medication that matters to your health. For critical medication, keep a second method — an alarm, a pill organiser, or a person who can remind you. I do not warrant that any given reminder will be delivered on time or at all.
You must be at least 16 to create an account. Keep your password confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell me promptly at appdevad@icloud.com if you believe it has been accessed by someone else. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, including details of family members you choose to track, and for having a proper basis to record another person's information.
Please do not attempt to breach or probe the app's security, access another user's data, disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it except where the law permits, use it to provide medical services to others as a substitute for professional judgement, or use automated means to place excessive load on it.
MedKeeper is provided as-is and may be modified, interrupted or discontinued at any time, including for maintenance or because a third-party service it relies on changes. Features may be added or removed. I will give reasonable notice of discontinuation where practical.
Your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently deletes your data.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MedKeeper is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, nor for any loss arising from a missed, delayed or duplicated dose, or from data loss. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
These terms may be updated. The current version is always at this address with its date, and material changes will be notified in the app. Continuing to use MedKeeper after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon, and the courts of Beirut, Lebanon have jurisdiction. If you use MedKeeper as a consumer elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence.
